Winter is knocking on our doors, and we are battening down the hatches for another successful Polar Plunge. Whatever winter weather is in store for the 2016 Polar Plunge, Team DMJ has weathered it all. Since our inaugural jump sixteen years ago, we have had the amazing opportunity to support the nearly 37,000 athletes of Special Olympics North Carolina with this very unique community wide event. In support from friends like you, we have proudly raised the bar year, after year, raising more than $100,000 collectively.
Team DMJ is looking towards our next plunge on Saturday, February 27 as they rally towards an icy swim in the frigid winter waters of Wet n’ Wild. This community wide event celebrates the achievements of athletes with intellectual and physical disabilities who develop physical fitness and demonstrate courage in more than twenty sports because of Special Olympics.
